1. Nice. How long does dmoz take to approve or disapprove a submission? I submitted my entry last week, and as far as I can see it was accurate to the dot. There were no misleading content, I had kept everything in there as minimal and simple as possible. I still dont' see myself listed.

12. www.dmoz.com is a quality source to reach the world, and getting listed in there means, a new sunny life is added to your web. However Dmoz have-had been choosy a bit and why not. They are in the market since 1994 and only appreciated and index the quality sites, matching their guide lines, rules and regulations as stated by the major search engines as well as with good page rank, coding, programming and all.
Dmoz takes long time to add the web-sites in their data-base, Their response may be late, but very productive.
If you are looking to be added in Dmoz, work on your web site. Do the quality legal work, and You will be entertained.

13. Zafer: As per your question on Dated: 12:22PM on Apr 9th 2008 "I would like learn why sites in compliance with guidelines get rejected"
Answer: The quality websites which are meeting and complying their quality assurance are never rejected. It is a free services, The whole world keeps an eye and looks and plans to be added there. In my own openion, This may take from one week to 3 months minimum, that your website may stay in the queue. The queue there is sorted from 1st to the last, So that means, They still have a look at your website, check all factors of it and in case it matches their requirements, They are quite very much generous to add. However, If you think, Its more than 3-months You did not get listed, I will personally advice you to re-add your website. Please do it once only. You may be listed! Please be specific while writing the Title and Descriptions, Check it out YOUR website URL, Email address, suggest the appropriate category, and if all goes well...You are there!
They are free. They are generous. They are overloaded, So lets make sure, They love to add your website(s) and they really do not hesitate.
Hope this helps
All the best and please let us know your findings.
Kind regards - Tina
